Super shot Yves. The heron does look like he is after something. The background has some beautiful colours and texture.

The guy was on a mission of course. Glad you notice the colours and texture of the muddy patch. Like very much the reflection in the back of the heron and the green algea in front.

Thank you very much Heather. I was very lucky to have so much colours and details on the bird. The sun was just right and low in the morning. A very happy moment of photography.
